Peartree Homes — Custom Homes, Renovations, Additions
Home / Process

Three clear phases. Zero guesswork.

Our step-by-step approach keeps you informed and in control
from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

01

Imagine

We start with an honest conversation about your vision, how your family actually lives, and your real budget. We walk the property, talk through what is possible, and tell you plainly what is achievable before anyone spends a dollar on drawings. If the scope and the budget do not line up, you hear it here — not six months in.

02

Refine

Working alongside our designers, we refine plans, walk selections and lock materials. Cabinetry, stone, tile, plumbing, lighting and hardware all get specified by name. This phase ends in a fixed-price contract and a resourced schedule — no vague allowances waiting to become change orders.

03

Build

Construction begins with daily updates through your 24/7 client portal, a clean job site, and a response to every question inside one working day. You can check the schedule, selections, invoices and progress photos from anywhere, at any hour.

The Client Portal

Your project, visible any time you want to look

Every Peartree client gets a 24/7 online portal. It is the single place where the schedule, the selections, the invoices and the daily site photos live — so nobody has to reconstruct a decision from a text thread three months later.

  • Daily progress photos posted from the job site.
  • Live schedule showing what is happening this week and next.
  • Selections log with every material choice documented and dated.
  • Invoices and approvals in one auditable place.

Process Questions

What to expect, and when

Design, selections and permitting take most of the pre-construction time — often longer than clients expect, particularly on the islands where review can be slower. We give you a realistic pre-construction timeline in the Refine phase rather than an optimistic one.

Yes, though changes cost more mid-construction than they do on paper. That is precisely why we push selections into the Refine phase: decisions made before framing are cheap, and decisions made after drywall are not.

A dedicated project manager runs your site and posts your updates, with the same senior team that priced the work staying accountable through completion. You are not handed to a coordinator you have never met.

We close out the punch list and stand behind the work. If something is not right, we come back and correct it — that has been the policy since 2012.

Start with the Imagine phase

It costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You will leave the conversation
knowing whether your project is realistic and roughly what it would take.
